Placements24 is seeking a Senior Automotive Service Advisor in Centurion to lead service department operations. You will act as the primary liaison between customers and the workshop, translating concerns into work orders and providing accurate estimates from drop-off to pickup.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in a customer-facing automotive position, with strong communication, negotiation, and sales skills.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar customer-facing role.
In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, repair processes, and common maintenance schedules.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a high-pressure environment.
Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and automotive diagnostic software.
Strong sales aptitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and listen to their vehicle concerns, performing initial walk-arounds to identify issues.
Translate customer needs into detailed repair orders for technicians, specifying parts and labor.
Provide clear, transparent communication regarding services, costs, and timelines.
Manage the service schedule to ensure efficient workflow and timely repairs.
Address inquiries promptly and resolve issues to maintain satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
