Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in aircraft structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency with FEA software (ANSYS, NASTRAN, ABAQUS).
• Experience with composite and metallic aerospace structures.
• Knowledge of aerospace design standards and certification processes.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills; team player.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and stress calculations for aircraft components using FEA software.
• Design and develop new aircraft structures and modify existing ones to meet performance and safety requirements.
• Conduct material selection and testing for aerospace applications.
• Collaborate with aerodynamicists, systems engineers and manufacturing teams.
• Prepare technical reports and design specifications.
• Oversee structural testing, including static and dynamic loading.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and customer specs.
• Troubleshoot structural issues during testing, manufacturing, or operation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated on trends in aerospace structures and materials.
