Placements24 is seeking an Aerospace Structural Engineer in Pretoria for a hybrid role. You will design, analyze, and test aircraft structural components, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, with duties spanning stress, fatigue, and dynamic analyses.

You will work with CATIA/SolidWorks and FEA tools (ANSYS/NASTRAN/Abaqus) and collaborate with manufacturing and other engineering disciplines to deliver robust structures and documentation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or related with structures specialization.
• 5+ years of experience in structural analysis and design for aerospace applications.
• Proficiency in FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, NASTRAN, Abaqus).
• Experience with CAD software for structural component design (CATIA, SolidWorks).

Responsabilidades

• Design, analyze, and validate aircraft structural components using CAD and FEA tools.
• Perform stress, fatigue, and vibration analyses to ensure integrity.
• Develop structural test plans and interpret data for design modifications.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure compliant production of structures.
• Select materials based on performance and cost; prepare design reports and certification docs.
• Stay updated on aerospace structures and materials technology.
• Coordinate with other engineering teams for integrated aircraft systems.
