Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Structures Engineer for our Benoni-based engineering team. The role involves designing, analyzing, and certifying aircraft structural components, ensuring airworthiness and performance.

The position blends on-site collaboration with remote-focused work in a dynamic, hybrid environment. Applicants should have extensive experience in aerospace structural design and FEA, plus CAD proficiency (CATIA/SolidWorks) and knowledge of FAA/EASA regulations.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in aerospace, mechanical, or related structural field.
• Extensive experience in aircraft structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency with FEA software (NASTRAN, ANSYS).
• CAD skills with CATIA or SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of airworthiness regulations and certification processes.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform stress analysis and structural integrity assessments using FEA.
• Design and develop aircraft structural components and assemblies.
• Select materials and manufacturing processes for aircraft structures.
• Prepare stress reports, certification plans, and design justifications.
• Oversee structural testing including static and fatigue tests.
• Ensure compliance with airworthiness regulations (FAA, EASA).
• Mentor junior engineers.
