Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in aeronautical, mechanical, or civil eng with structures focus.
• Minimum 4 years in aircraft structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency with FEA tools (ANSYS/ABAQUS/Nastran).
• Strong CAD skills (CATIA V5 or SolidWorks) and knowledge of aerospace materials.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop primary and secondary aircraft structures (fuselage, wings, control surfaces).
• Perform structural analysis to meet strength, stiffness, and fatigue requirements.
• Create 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for structural components.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to optimize producibility and cost.
• Participate in trade studies and material selection for structures.
• Develop and execute structural test plans and analyze results.
• Ensure designs comply with aerospace standards and customer specs.
• Support resolution of structural issues during manufacturing and flight tests.
• Document design decisions, analyses, and test reports.
• Contribute to design reviews with technical structural input.
