Placements24 seeks a Senior Account Manager to lead a portfolio of key client accounts from our Sandton hub. You will retain clients, foster strategic relationships, and identify expansion opportunities while coordinating with sales, support, and product teams to ensure exceptional service.

The role requires a proven track record in managing high-value accounts, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Sandton.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or a related client-facing sales role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and growing key client accounts.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex client needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a portfolio of high-value client accounts, ensuring retention and profitability.
• Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive growth and maximize revenue from existing clients.
• Serve as the main point of contact, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling relevant products and services.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, support, product) to deliver exceptional client experiences.
• Proactively address client concerns and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
