Job summary

Dante Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Senior Account Executive in South Africa (Gauteng) to drive revenue growth by selling complex technology solutions across Cybersecurity, Cloud Infrastructure and AI portfolios. You will engage executive-level buyers, tailor demonstrations, and collaborate with pre-sales and architecture teams to close deals.

Ideal candidates have 5–7+ years of B2B IT/Cloud sales experience, a solid understanding of cloud architectures and cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Minimum Matric / Grade 12 completed.
• 5 to 7+ years of proven B2B IT/Cloud sales experience.
• Hybrid cloud, AWS/Azure, SaaS/IaaS knowledge and cybersecurity frameworks (Zero Trust, IAM, SIEM/SOC).
• Valid driver’s license and own transport for client visits.
• Strong track record of meeting quota targets.

Responsibilities

Our client, an established technology and managed services provider, is seeking a Senior Account Executive responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing complex technology sales across Cybersecurity, Cloud Infrastructure, and AI Solutions portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and convert strategic new business leads into long-term corporate clients.


• Present complex IT solution demonstrations tailored to executive-level business requirements.


• Work alongside internal technical pre-sales and architecture teams to design proposals and RFPs.


• Maintain accurate CRM pipeline reports and revenue forecasts.


• Expand market presence across enterprise and mid-market sectors.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Matric / Grade 12 (Relevant Tertiary Degree or Diploma advantageous).


• 5 to 7+ years proven B2B solution sales experience within the IT / MSSP / Cloud sector.


• Sound working knowledge of Cloud architectures (Hybrid, AWS, Azure, SaaS/IaaS) and Cybersecurity frameworks (Zero Trust, IAM, SIEM/SOC).


• Valid Driver's License and reliable own transport (essential for client visits).


• High commercial acumen with a strong history of meeting quota targets.
