Job summary

Maslow Realty is a PPRA-regulated property management firm based in Alberton, Gauteng, overseeing sectional title schemes and HOAs with a hands-on approach. We seek an experienced Portfolio Manager to own a portfolio, supported by our in-house finance team and an assistant.

You will prepare budgets, levy schedules, and reserve fund calculations, attend AGMs and trustee meetings, ensure compliance with STSMA, CSOS Act, and POPIA, and coordinate with our debt collection team to manage arrears.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a portfolio manager at a sectional title managing agent.
• Valid PPRA Fidelity Fund Certificate.
• Sound knowledge of STSMA, Prescribed Management Rules and CSOS Act.
• Proven ability to draw up budgets and present financials to trustees.
• Confident chairing and presenting at meetings.
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence; travel across Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of schemes and be the main contact for trustees and owners.
• Prepare and present annual budgets, levy schedules and reserve fund calculations.
• Prepare for, attend and minute AGMs, SGM and trustee meetings (evening meetings).
• Ensure compliance with STSMA, Prescribed Management Rules and CSOS Act and POPIA.
• Review monthly financials and resolve levy statement and owner account queries.
• Manage maintenance, insurance claims and service providers.
• Work with the debt collection team on arrears and credit control.
• Respond to all queries within 24 hours, in line with our service standard.

Maslow Realty is a PPRA-regulated property management firm based in Alberton, with over 10 years in business. We manage sectional title bodies corporate and HOAs across Gauteng on a full-service, hands-on basis, and we are known in the industry for strong credit control and debt collection.

We are looking for an experienced Portfolio Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of sectional title schemes and HOAs, supported by a portfolio assistant and our in-house finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of schemes and be the main contact for trustees and owners
• Prepare and present annual budgets, levy schedules and reserve fund calculations
• Prepare for, attend and minute AGMs, special general meetings and trustee meetings (including evening meetings)
• Ensure compliance with the STSMA, Prescribed Management Rules, CSOS Act and POPIA
• Review monthly financials and resolve levy statement and owner account queries
• Manage maintenance, insurance claims and service providers
• Work with our debt collection team on arrears and credit control
• Respond to all queries within 24 hours, in line with our service standard
