Job summary

Nova Pioneer is seeking a Tech Coordinator to organize in-house IT processes, manage the IT helpdesk at the Randburg campus, and oversee equipment testing, redeployment, and asset inventory.

You will report to the School Leader/Dean of Operations and collaborate with the Global Tech Team to support academic systems, network services, printing, and school events with proactive, reliable technology.

Qualifications

• A complete diploma/degree in an IT-related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of technical IT support experience.
• Proficient in computer networks and troubleshooting network issues.
• Comfort with PC/Linux/Mac-based systems.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for tech support via the school helpdesk and escalate when needed.
• Manage IT assets, inventory, and check-in/check-out of student devices.
• Coordinate tech PD and onboarding/offboarding with Talent and Global Tech teams.
• Maintain classroom projectors, printers, network equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Support the Student Information System (SIS) and SASAMS submissions.
• Assist in school events tech needs and printing services.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
