Job summary

Nova Pioneer is seeking a Tech Coordinator to organize in-house IT processes, manage the helpdesk, and oversee tech assets across the school campus. You will test and recondition equipment, support SIS/EdAdmin, run tech PD for teachers, and coordinate with the Global Tech Team to ensure smooth operations.

A diploma/degree in IT and at least 2 years of IT support experience are required, with strong networking skills and proficiency across Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Qualifications

• A complete diploma/degree in an IT-related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of technical IT support experience.
• Proficient knowledge of computer networks and ability to troubleshoot network issues.
• Able to work with PC/Linux/Mac-based systems.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple projects and deadlines.
• Empathy, curiosity and people-reading skills to support colleagues and students.
• Proficiency in data management, Excel, project management, teamwork, vendor management and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track IT assets and inventory for the campus.
• Support the School Information System (SIS/EdAdmin) with updates and password resets.
• Provide first-line helpdesk support and escalate complex issues to the Global Tech Team.
• Lead tech onboarding/offboarding and run termly PD for staff.
• Maintain network and printing infrastructure and monitor security posture.
• Assist with school events requiring technology and coordinate with external service providers.
