Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a proactive Property Development Coordinator to support the project management team in Sandton. This hybrid role involves planning, execution, and monitoring of real estate development projects from inception to completion, collaborating with developers, architects, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely delivery.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of navigating a fast-paced development environment across Gauteng.

Qualifications

• name of degree in related field, preferably real estate or construction
• Bachelor’s degree requirement in related fields and strong organizational skills
• Experience in project coordination within real estate or construction is preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Prepare and review project documents such as proposals, contracts, and reports
• Track milestones and ensure timelines are met
• Communicate with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
• Maintain project files and databases with accuracy
• Assist in obtaining permits and approvals from authorities
• Coordinate site visits, meetings, and inspections
• Support feasibility studies and market data research for new projects
• Identify and report project risks to the development manager
• Assist in post-construction close-out activities
