Job summary

You will develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels, identify new opportunities, and strive to exceed monthly sales targets while educating customers on company services and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Matric Certificate required.
• Minimum 2 years' proven experience in an external sales role.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of the truck hire industry will be advantageous.
• Valid Code 08 driver's licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and objectives.
• Educate customers on company services, products, and industry developments.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry changes.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports, customer feedback, and market intelligence.
• Resolve customer queries and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Negotiate within approved rate parameters.
• Obtain and process accurately completed credit applications.
• Clearly explain all hire terms, conditions, and service offerings to clients.
• Complete all required administrative duties, including quotations, credit applications, customer records, and reporting.
