Responsibilities

• Sales: issuing and following up quotations to generate sales; quote process and control for special orders; read building plans and ensure quotations are correct and within timeframe; manage telephone calls and follow ups; conduct competitor analysis to ensure store competitiveness; promote loyalty programs.
• Deliveries: manage efficient delivery service; ensure correct rates; deliveries dispatched within required time; communicate delays and arrange alternatives with customers.
• Customer Service: maintain an effective customer service desk; record and resolve complaints; ensure customer service is consistently high; maintain telephone etiquette.
• Store Standards: manage Ready for Business checklists; implement price changes; ensure planograms are followed.
• People Management: ensure staff presence; provide backups; oversee execution of duties by general assistants, sales advisors and forklift drivers.
• Safety (OHSA): ensure safety standards are followed; ensure PPE and safe equipment use.
• Security Awareness: monitor for suspicious activity; maintain password security.
