Responsibilities

• Sales: Issuing and follow up of quotations to generate sales.
• Quote process and control Special Orders.
• Reading of building plans and ensuring quotations are correct and within the agreed timeframe.
• Manage the telephone, answer, and return calls, ensure follow ups are done.
• Conduct competitor analysis to ensure competitiveness of the store.
• Communicate bulk deposit transfers to Customers.
• Promote loyalty programs (VIC and Charge Card Customers).
• Deliveries: Manage an efficient delivery service and ensuring that the correct rates are charged.
• Deliveries dispatched within the required time limit.
• Delayed deliveries communicated with Customer and appropriate arrangements made and agreed to with the Customer.
• Customer Service: Effective Customer Service Desk Management, record/follow up/resolve complaints, telephone etiquette.
• Store Standards: Manage Ready for Business Checklists, price changes to advertised prices, implement planograms.
• People Management: Ensure staff presence and training backups, supervise daily duties.
• Safety (OHSA) Requirements: Ensure safety standards and protective clothing usage.
• Security Awareness: Be aware of suspicious people/activities and maintain password security.
