Job summary

Cashbuild in Tembisa West is seeking a Sales Co to drive sales through active customer interaction, accurate quotations, and costed building plans. You will ensure proper housekeeping and merchandising, and support a cost-effective delivery service.

The role demands a Grade 12 plus 5 years of related experience, excellent numeric skills, and proven customer service ability. You will oversee deliveries, planograms, and plan reading while coordinating a small team and maintaining OHSA safety

Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus 5 years related experience or 10 years work-related history.
• Plan reading experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to communicate in English and local language; strong numeric skills.

Responsibilities

• Issuing and following up quotations to generate sales.
• Quote process and control for special orders.
• Read building plans to ensure quotations are accurate and timely.
• Manage telephone calls, follow ups and customer contact.
• Conduct competitor analysis to ensure competitiveness.
• Promote loyalty programs (VIC and Charge Card).
• Deliveries: manage efficient delivery service and accurate rates.
• Ensure deliveries are dispatched within required timeframes and communicate delays.
• Provide effective customer service desk management and resolve complaints.
• Maintain store standards: ready-for-business checklists, planograms, price changes.
• Lead and back up General Assistants, Sales Advisors and forklift drivers.
