Job summary

Cashbuild is seeking a Sales Coordinator (internal applications only) for Tonga, Mpumalanga, South Africa. Grow sales through constant customer interaction, cost planning of building plans, and accurate quotations while maintaining merchandising standards.

Responsibilities include managing quotations, deliveries, customer service, store standards, and supervising staff. Strong numeric skills, plan-reading ability, and fluency in English and local language are essential. Internal applicants only.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus 5 years related experience or 10 years' work related experience.
• Plan reading experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant language spoken in the geographical area where the position is available.
• Above average numeric skills.
• Proven ability to provide exceptional Customer Service.
• Proven ability to work under pressure.
• Must be computer literate.
• Proven strong organising, planning and delegation skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales: Issuing and follow up of quotations to generate sales, control of quote process and special orders, reading building plans to ensure correct quotations within timeframe, manage telephone calls and follow ups, conduct competitor analysis and promote loyalty programs.
• Deliveries: Manage efficient delivery service, ensure correct rates, dispatch deliveries within timeframes, communicate delays and arrange alternatives with customers.
• Customer Service: Manage the customer service desk, record and resolve complaints, ensure attentive service and telephone etiquette.
• Store Standards: Manage Ready for Business checklists and processes, implement price changes, enforce planograms.
• People Management: Ensure staff are present and capable, maintain backup coverage, oversee daily duties.
• Safety: Ensure OHSA standards, proper protective clothing and safe equipment use.
• Security Awareness: Be aware of suspicious activity and protect passwords.
