City Lodge Hotels is hiring a Junior Assistant General Manager in South Africa. This role leads day-to-day hotel operations across front office, housekeeping, F&B, maintenance, and security, upholding brand standards and profitability.

You will work with the Deputy General Manager/General Manager to ensure service excellence and financial performance. The position requires leadership experience in hospitality, exposure to all departments, and the ability to manage shifts, staff, and guest

Qualifikationen

• Experience in hospitality leadership roles and department exposure.
• FOC position experience with exposure to all departments for at least 1 year.
• Internal AGM development would be advantageous.
• Food & Beverage exposure is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Achieves and exceeds forecasted revenue budgets for accommodation, F&B, conferencing and sundry revenues.
• Controls expenditure in line with hotel budgets.
• Manages payments and collections into hotel bank accounts.
• Prepares month-end and year-end processes for audit requirements.
• Maximises room revenue through pricing and occupancy strategies.
• Oversees group arrivals, restaurant operations, menus and resources during peak shifts.
• Maintains brand standards and service levels across all group hotels.
• Ensures compliance with maintenance schedules and environmental sustainability goals.
• Plans staffing per shift and develops team members.
