Revenue and Reservations Supervisor – Luxury 5-Star Hotel
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Revenue and Reservations Supervisor to join a prestigious 5-star hotel in Franschhoek, Western Cape . The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing reservations operations, optimising occupancy and revenue, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience from booking through to arrival.
- Position: Revenue and Reservations Supervisor
- Salary: R25,000 – R30,000 per month
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day reservations operation, ensuring all enquiries and bookings are handled accurately and efficiently.
- Supervise and support the reservations team, providing guidance, training and ongoing development.
- Monitor occupancy, room availability, rates and booking patterns to maximise revenue opportunities.
- Assist with implementing effective revenue management and pricing strategies.
- Maintain accurate reservations records and ensure all bookings are correctly captured and processed.
- Monitor online booking channels, OTAs and distribution platforms.
- Analyse reservation and revenue reports and identify opportunities to improve performance.
- Work closely with Front Office, Sales, Finance and Management to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency.
- Manage guest enquiries and special requests professionally, ensuring a personalised service experience.
- Assist with forecasting, reporting and maintaining rate parity across all relevant channels.
- Ensure reservations procedures and hotel standards are consistently followed.
- Handle any booking-related issues or guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a reservations, revenue or hotel operations role is essential.
- Supervisory or team leadership experience is highly advantageous.
- Previous experience within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of hotel reservations systems, online distribution channels and revenue principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Good numerical and analytical skills with a commercial approach.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Professional presentation and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
- Knowledge of the Franschhoek/Winelands hospitality market would be advantageous.
