Placements24 is seeking a qualified Retail Store Supervisor for our client’s busy Pretoria outlet. The role focuses on daily store operations, team leadership, inventory control, and delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, training, maintaining visual merchandising, handling POS transactions, and helping meet sales targets while ensuring a safe, compliant work environment. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with POS systems and basic computer use.
• Willing to work weekends and public holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; retail qualifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with daily store operations.
• Supervise and train retail associates, provide feedback.
• Oversee stock reception, merchandising, and counts.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve inquiries.
• Maintain store appearance and visual merchandising per guidelines.
• Operate POS system and manage cash transactions.
• Support staff scheduling and operational planning.
• Open and close store as required; ensure security.
• Help achieve sales targets through customer engagement.
