Job summary

Placements24 is recruiting a Retail Store Supervisor for a popular clothing retailer in Bloemfontein, Free State. You will support the Store Manager, lead sales associates, and ensure outstanding customer service while maintaining store standards. The role requires at least 2 years in retail or customer service, supervisory experience, and strong communication.

You will handle opening/closing, merchandising, inventory, POS operations, and training new staff. Flexible weekend availability.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail sales or customer service role.
Prev supervisory or keyholder experience is desirable.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of inventory management and POS systems.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Supervise and guide a team of retail sales associates, ensuring high levels of performance and customer engagement.
Assist the Store Manager in daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Provide outstanding customer service, resolving inquiries and issues efficiently.
Maintain store merchandising and visual presentation standards.
Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and cycle counts.
Process customer transactions using the POS system.
Train new staff on store policies and procedures.
Contribute to achieving store sales targets through effective sales techniques.
