Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Retail Store Supervisor for our Randburg, Gauteng location. You will lead a team of sales associates, uphold outstanding customer service, and support the Store Manager with scheduling and performance management.

Responsibilities include stock control, inventory, visual merchandising, and driving sales targets. The role requires flexibility for shifts and weekends in a fast-paced retail environment within Randburg.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Solid understanding of stock control, merchandising, and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of retail sales associates.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve inquiries promptly.
• Assist Store Manager with staff scheduling, training and performance reviews.
• Oversee inventory management, stock receptions and regular stock takes.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation.
• Monitor sales performance and contribute to target attainment.
• Ensure compliance with policies and health & safety regulations.
• Manage opening and closing procedures and cash handling.
• Support promotional activities and store initiatives.
• Foster a positive team culture and Randburg staff collaboration.
