Sealand is seeking a confident Retail Store Supervisor for our Rosebank store to support the Regional Manager and lead the on‑floor team. In this hands‑on role you’ll drive daily sales, uphold high operational standards, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while exemplifying Sealand’s values.

You’ll develop the team, manage stock and merchandising, and own store performance during shifts, ensuring the store runs smoothly and consistently.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of retail experience.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Proven ability to drive sales and influence team performance.
• Strong people skills and the confidence to lead a team.
• A hands‑on approach to retail and store operations.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to remain calm and solutions‑focused under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach — you see what needs to be done and make it happen.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily sales and actively contribute to achieving store targets.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and consistently demonstrate strong selling behaviours.
• Motivate the team to deliver against daily and monthly targets.
• Monitor daily performance and identify opportunities to improve results.
• Support the Regional Manager with sales reporting and performance tracking.
• Create a positive and energetic sales environment.
• Lead and motivate the team during daily trading.
• Set clear expectations and ensure team members understand their responsibilities.
• Support the Regional Manager with coaching, feedback, and ongoing team development.
• Help create a culture of accountability, ownership, and teamwork.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members.
• Assist with managing day‑to‑day team challenges and employee concerns.
• Act as a leader on the floor and be a positive example of Sealand’s values.
• Deliver a consistently exceptional and on‑brand customer experience.
• Ensure customers receive knowledgeable, personalised service and handle queries.
• Confidently communicate the Sealand story and products.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and repairs professionally.
• Build strong relationships with customers and encourage repeat visits.
• Maintain smooth store operations, stock and merchandising standards.
• Oversee stock replenishment, stock takes and deliveries.
• Monitor housekeeping and general presentation; ensure visual merchandising is maintained.
• Identify operational issues and resolve them promptly.
