Placements24 is seeking a Retail Floor Supervisor in Randburg, Gauteng. You will oversee the sales floor, lead a team of sales associates, and ensure outstanding customer service and store presentation.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will drive sales, manage floor operations, and contribute to team development in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Retail Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service.
• Knowledge of retail sales techniques and visual merchandising principles.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and results-driven.
• Residing in or willing to work in Randburg, Gauteng area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide sales associates on the retail floor to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor customer traffic and provide prompt assistance.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and address inquiries or concerns.
• Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation standards are met.
• Assist in managing inventory levels, stock replenishment, and organization of the sales floor.
• Support the Store Manager in implementing sales strategies and promotions.
• Train and onboard new sales associates, providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Ensure adherence to store policies, safety regulations, and loss prevention procedures.
• Handle opening and closing procedures as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth store operations.
• Foster a positive and motivated team environment on the sales floor.
• Observe and report on customer behavior and sales trends.
