Job summary

Cashbuild is seeking a Trainee Manager (External Applications Only) to protect and grow profitable market share within a Store in line with company strategy. You will support the Store Manager and help develop practical business plans and execution locally in Bloemfontein.

The role requires Grade 12 with 2 years retail management experience, strong leadership, accounting skills, and basic computer literacy. Training will prepare you for a store leadership path within the Cashbuild network.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with at least 2 years retail management experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid ID or valid work permit (local).
• Strong accounting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Strong leadership and administrative skills.
• Own transport and cell phone.
• Sound knowledge of OHSA health and safety regulations.
• Strong human resources skills.
• Assist Store Manager with non-compliance actions.
• Assist Store Manager with stock control and stock movement.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager to develop, implement and manage Store Business Plan aligned with company strategy.
• Grow and protect market share and achieve sales budgets.
• Promote customer loyalty programs and manage advertising material distribution.
• Support risk, stock, cash and asset controls within the store.
• Assist with HR, safety, merchandising, planning and day-to-day operations.
