Job summary

DigicapeSA in Cape Town seeks a Retail Sales / Cellular Consultant to deliver an exceptional in-store experience while selling Apple products, cellular solutions, accessories, and related services. This full-time, on-site role is based at our Roeland and/or Gardens Centre stores.

You will lead the team, manage staffing and operations, and work with internal teams to resolve issues. Apple product knowledge and a proven sales track record are essential.

Role Description

The Retail Sales / Cellular Consultant role at DigicapeSA is a full-time, on-site position based within our Roeland and/or Gardens Centre retail store in Cape Town.

This role is focused on delivering an exceptional in-store customer experience while driving sales across Apple products, cellular solutions, accessories, and related services. The Retail Sales / Cellular Consultant will engage with customers to understand their needs, recommend suitable solutions, demonstrate products, and confidently guide customers through their purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the retail team to achieve individual, store, and company sales targets.
• Manage staffing requirements, schedules, attendance, leave, uniforms, performance, conduct, and day-to-day team responsibilities to ensure the store is appropriately staffed and operating effectively.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening procedures, merchandising, cleaning, restocking, store presentation, cash-ups, and compliance with Digicape and Apple retail standards.
• Maintain accurate retail administration and ensure processes relating to orders, debtors, credit notes, refunds, reinvoicing, education documentation, and other required records are completed correctly.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, taking ownership of escalated customer concerns and working with relevant internal teams to resolve issues effectively.

Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

• 3-4 years' relevant experience, with prior experience in a retail environment.
• Demonstrated retail management and team leadership experience.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving overall store performance.
• Strong working knowledge of Apple products and technology, with the ability to use product knowledge to drive commercial results.
