Job summary

Digicape is seeking a Retail Manager for its Roeland and/or Gardens store in Cape Town. You will lead the retail team, drive sales targets, and ensure Digicape and Apple retail standards are applied on a daily basis.

You will oversee staffing, store operations, merchandising, stock control, and administration, while delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining high service levels across all touchpoints.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the retail team to achieve individual, store, and company sales targets.
• Manage staffing requirements, schedules, attendance, leave, uniforms, performance, conduct, and day-to-day team responsibilities.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening procedures, merchandising, cleaning, restocking, store presentation, cash-ups, and compliance with standards.
• Maintain accurate retail administration: orders, debtors, credit notes, refunds, reinvoicing, education documentation, and records.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, handling escalated concerns with internal teams.

Role Description: TheRetail Manageris a full-time, on-site role based at Digicape's Roeland and/or Gardens store in Cape Town. The role is responsible for the day-to-day management and performance of the store, leading the retail team to achieve sales targets while maintaining Digicape and Apple retail standards.

Key responsibilities include team development, customer service, stock control, merchandising, administration, performance management, and daily store operations, with a strong focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the retail team to achieve individual, store, and company sales targets.
• Manage staffing requirements, schedules, attendance, leave, uniforms, performance, conduct, and day-to-day team responsibilities to ensure the store is appropriately staffed and operating effectively.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening procedures, merchandising, cleaning, restocking, store presentation, cash-ups, and compliance with Digicape and Apple retail standards.
• Maintain accurate retail administration and ensure processes relating to orders, debtors, credit notes, refunds, reinvoicing, education documentation, and other required records are completed correctly.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, taking ownership of escalated customer concerns and working with relevant internal teams to resolve issues effectively.

Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:

• 3-4 years' relevant experience, with prior experience in a retail environment.
• Demonstrated retail management and team leadership experience.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving overall store performance.
• Strong working knowledge of Apple products and technology, with the ability to use product knowledge to drive commercial results.
