Job summary

Clicks Group in Centurion is seeking a permanent Retail Associate to support in-store service excellence, operate the point of sale, enroll clubcard members, and promote promotions. This is an entry-level to junior role suited to customers with a shop-floor mindset.

You will handle cash securely, maintain merchandising standards, assist customers, and deliver a friendly, professional experience that reflects the Clicks brand while working as part of the store team.

Qualifications

• Desirable Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level.
• Desirable: experience in retail/FMCG store operations.

Responsibilities

• To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
• To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment for goods purchased, including actioning clubcard rewards.
• To ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.
• To enroll new clubcard members to achieve participation targets.
• To make customers aware of promotions to positively affect sales and ensure customers feel good and pay less.
• To deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador.
