Job summary

Takealot.com, South Africa's leading online retailer, is seeking a Project Manager-Retail Media to join our Retail Media Team in Cape Town. You will lead content calendars, collaborate with design and content teams, and coordinate across departments to showcase our achievements and industry insights.

The role reports to the Group Executive: Advertising. Expect a dynamic work environment with flexible remuneration and opportunities to drive brand presence across channels.

Qualifications

• Minimum National Diploma in Marketing, Business, or Project Management.
• 3-5 years of coordinator, project management or advertising experience.
• Proficiency with project management software (Asana, Trello, Monday.com, etc.).
• Advanced Microsoft Office / Google Workspace skills.
• Experience with social media management platforms and analytics tools.
• Basic knowledge of Looker Studio, Power BI or Tableau for data extraction.

Responsibilities

• Execute LinkedIn content calendar and posting to position the retail media team as thought leaders.
• Coordinate content posts showcasing team achievements, case studies, and industry insights.
• Collaborate with teams to gather success stories and client wins for social sharing.
• Monitor engagement metrics and provide insights to optimize content strategy.
• Coordinate speaking opportunities, awards, and PR initiatives.
• Manage social media channels and professional platforms as needed.
• Act as liaison between retail media and content/design teams.
• Brief content team on marketing needs and brand guidelines.
• Coordinate with design on asset creation for presentations and collateral.
• Maintain brand consistency across team communications.
