You will attract new advertisers, tailor campaigns for high-value clients, coordinate assets and timelines, oversee billing and campaign measurement, and help expand the group advertising offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in a relevant field.
• At least 6 years of account management experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum 3 years of advertising sales experience (account management – individual contributor).
• Experience in Digital Marketing, Advertising or external Sales is preferred.
• E-Commerce experience is advantageous.
• Proven ability to consistently achieve sales targets and manage relationships.

Responsibilities

• Maximise value from existing Takealot Group relationships (brands and sellers).
• Attract new brands, agencies and non-retail advertisers to invest in advertising inventory.
• Initiate, design and implement group advertising campaigns.
• Target suppliers and sellers to offer additional value through group advertising options.
• Customise campaigns for high-value clients and enhance the rate card and pitch deck.
• Gather assets for designers to implement campaigns and ensure timely execution.
• Oversee billing, payment, and campaign tracking reports; communicate outcomes to clients.
• Surpass advertising sales targets by leveraging data and insights.
