Job summary

Clicks Group Limited is hiring for a permanent in-store role in Roodepoort. The position focuses on delivering service excellence through POS operations, merchandising and clubcard initiatives. You will handle cash safely and promote promotions to drive sales while maintaining a premium customer experience.

The role requires basic maths, strong customer focus and the ability to work with teams to meet store targets and standards.

Qualifications

Desirable: experience in a customer facing role within a retail/FMCG store operations environment
Desirable: Maths 50% and English 50% at Grade 12 level

Responsibilities

To efficiently execute all operational activities at the point of sale in a timely and efficient manner.
To maintain high levels of accuracy when scanning merchandise and collecting payment for goods purchased, including actioning clubcard rewards.
To ensure the safe handling of cash at all times.
To promote the Clicks' clubcard and enroll new clubcard members to achieve targets.
To inform customers of promotions to positively affect sales and ensure they feel good and pay less.
To deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador, being visible and friendly.
