Job summary

Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM) is seeking a Branch Manager in Bloemfontein to grow customer base and revenue by executing the retail branch strategy. You will guide Sales Consultants and lead a service-driven culture to ensure an optimal client experience.

The role requires oversight of branch operations, strategy development, compliance, and people practices in collaboration with HR. Strong leadership and a drive to exceed targets are essential.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• RE1 and RE5 registrations in good standing.
• 120 Wealth Management credits or FSCA-recognised tertiary qualification.
• Class of Business accreditation (annual).
• CPD current and past cycles.

Responsibilities

• Grow the customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass through developing and overseeing retail branch strategy.
• Guide, integrate and standardise activities of Sales Consultants aligned to the strategy.
• Lead a service delivery culture and ecosystem for optimal client experience.
• Maintain and manage Retail branch operations and strategy development.
• Ensure retail branch sales delivery and drive a service culture.
• Ensure compliance, quality and risk management.
• Oversee HR-related people practices for direct reports in collaboration with HR.
• Monthly planning and reporting of sales and service activities in the Branch.
• Identify stakeholders and engage effectively to build relationships.
