Job summary

Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM), a subsidiary of Sanlam, is seeking a Branch Manager in Pretoria to grow the customer base and revenue of the Retail Mass segment. You will guide Sales Consultants, align activities to strategy, and lead a service-focused culture within the branch.

You will oversee branch operations, ensure compliance and risk management, and collaborate with HR on talent development. A minimum of 5 years in leadership with service management and credit experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) required.
• RE1 and RE5 certifications required.
• 120 Wealth Management credits OR FSCA-recognised qualification.
• Class of Business accreditation (annual).
• CPD current and past cycles compliant.

Responsibilities

• Grow the customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass by developing and overseeing the branch strategy.
• Guide, integrate, and standardise activities of Sales Consultants in the branch.
• Lead a service delivery culture and ecosystem to ensure optimal client experience.
• Oversee day-to-day operation and management of the Retail branch and strategic planning.
• Ensure sales delivery, service culture, compliance, quality and risk management.
• Collaborate with HR on talent management, performance management and development for direct reports.
• Plan and report monthly on sales and service activities; engage stakeholders for relationships.
