Job summary

Clicks Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Limpopo to support the Store Manager in driving sales, service excellence and stock integrity across the store. You will lead a team, implement promotional activities and ensure brand standards are met.

You will be responsible for achieving store targets, managing schedules, and maintaining administrative records in line with company policies. The role offers a permanent contract and opportunities for career growth within the group.

Qualifications

• Essential: Grade 12 with maths and English pass marks.
• Degree in Retail/Business Management preferred.
• 1 year+ experience in an assistant store management role or trainee programme.
• Experience with budgets, P&L and financial ratios.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maximise sales via promotions and cross-selling.
• Ensure efficient store operations, stock control and housekeeping.
• Implement in-store visual merchandising to brand standards.
• Motivate and guide staff, especially in the Store Manager's absence.
• Maintain daily staffing schedules per labour policy.
• Execute customer service initiatives to boost loyalty and club card participation.
• Complete administrative duties and HR record submissions.
