Job summary

TradeOn in Durbanville, Western Cape, is hiring a Restaurant Manager as part of a structured succession pathway. The initial training phase lasts 6 months at Kraaifontein before taking full RM responsibilities, with placement across Cape Town area based on business needs.

You will lead shifts, coach teams, control costs, ensure CHAMPS compliance, and deliver a consistent customer experience while growing the brand and profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Grade 12 / Matric.
• Essential: 5 years supervisory experience leading large teams.
• Passion for coaching, mentoring and succession planning.
• Ability to interpret P&L statements and manage budgets.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) at beginner level.
• Good understanding of CHAMPS, food safety, health & safety compliance.
• Willingness to work shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Flexibility to work at any restaurant within the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead training, coaching and development of team members to improve performance.
• Coach on CHAMPS standards and ensure customer satisfaction targets are met.
• Forecast, schedule and allocate staff to balance costs and needs.
• Maintain safety, health and hygiene compliance across shifts.
• Drive sales growth and profitability through effective operations.
