Placements24 is seeking an accomplished Restaurant Manager to oversee operations of a high-end restaurant inside a boutique hotel in George, Western Cape. You will ensure exceptional guest experiences through service excellence, staff leadership, and strategic business development.

You will manage front-of-house, train and schedule staff, drive revenue while controlling costs, maintain standards of cleanliness and safety, handle guest feedback, and collaborate with the Executive Chef on menus

Qualifications

• 4+ years in hospitality management, preferably hotel restaurant.
• Proven budget management, cost control, and revenue growth.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and beverage programs.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications.

This role is crucial in ensuring an exceptional guest experience through meticulous service, effective staff management, and strategic business development. You will be responsible for the daily operations of the dining venue, focusing on service excellence, operational efficiency, and profitability, all while contributing to the overall success of the hotel in the beautiful Western Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, train, schedule, and supervise restaurant staff, fostering a culture of hospitality and professionalism.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and control costs, including managing inventory and payroll.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and ambiance within the restaurant and bar areas.
