Job summary

A reputable hospitality firm in Fort Beaufort is looking for a Restaurant & Bar Manager to oversee daily operations of the restaurant and kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Hotel Management and at least 2 years of experience in similar management roles. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems is essential. The role also involves ensuring service standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years proven experience in hospitality / restaurant management.
• Strong leadership and management skills for a team of four.
• Valid drivers’ license.
• Fluent in English; additional fluency in isiXhosa or Afrikaans advantageous.
• Numeracy proficiency.
• Computer literacy – MS Office and F&B management software.
• POS experience (Unisolv, Gaap, Pilot etc.).
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work shifts that meet operational requirements.
• Valid drivers’ license.

• Oversee daily operations, including staffing and inventory management.
