Job summary

Phoenix Recruitment Limited is seeking a candidate with extensive group travel ticketing experience to handle reservations, invoicing, and supplier relationships. You will work across domestic, regional, and international bookings, consulting on routing and fares to secure best value for clients.

Ideal applicants have familiarity with Amadeus and Quicktrav, strong financial understanding, and excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and high service

Qualifications

• 5+ years ticketing/reservation experience for group travel.
• Matric/Grade 12; tertiary travel or tourism qualification preferred.
• Basic financial knowledge: debits & credits, margins, VAT, cost of sales, commissions, profit, breakeven.
• Amadeus and Quicktrav system knowledge preferred.
• Strong MS Word, Excel, Outlook skills.

Duties

• Reservations & ticketing on Amadeus
• Group booking experience on Amadeus
• Invoicing on Quicktrav
• Domestic, Regional and International reservations and ticketing
• Good Fares knowledge
• Experience with Corporate and Leisure bookings
• International bookings consulting to find the best routing and best fare for the request
• Maintain all supplier relationships

Requirements

• Matric/Grade 12
• Tertiary travel or tourism qualification would be preferred
• At least 5+ years ticketing/reservation experience for group travel
• Basic Financial Knowledge (Debits & Credits, Mark-ups, Calculating Margin & VAT, Cost of sales, Commission, Profit, Breakeven)
• System knowledge on Amadeus and Quicktrav would be preferred
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Capacity for dealing with employers and workers at all levels
