Foodservice Equipment Supplier is seeking an experienced Repairs Manager to take ownership of its repair operation in Johannesburg and lead a team of technicians. The role focuses on efficient turnaround times, quality repairs and productivity improvements.

The successful candidate will manage the repair process from entry to completion, ensuring accurate job cards and high standards while collaborating with the Spares and Service Centre teams to maintain a smooth workflow.

Formación

• Matric / Grade 12 is required.
• A technical or trade qualification is required.
• At least 5 years in a workshop/repair/technical environment.
• Experience supervising technicians is required.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily repair workflow and allocate jobs to technicians.
• Lead, manage, motivate and develop the technician team.
• Take ownership of all job cards and ensure information is accurate and up to date.
• Monitor open and ageing repairs and drive to completion.
• Manage repair turnaround times and technician productivity.
• Ensure repairs are completed correctly, tested and meet quality standards.
• Investigate repeat repairs and identify quality improvements.
• Work with Spares and Service Centre teams for smooth workflow.
• Maintain repair system status accuracy for every job.
• Manage escalated technical and customer-related repair issues.
• Produce and review repair performance reports.
