Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 2-4 years of experience in electrical engineering, renewable energy preferred.
• Familiarity with solar inverter technology and grid integration concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer electrical systems for renewable energy projects, including solar PV and wind farms.
• Develop single-line diagrams, protection schemes, and interconnection studies.
• Specify balance-of-system components, including inverters, transformers, and cabling.
• Perform site assessments and feasibility studies for potential renewable energy installations.
• Ensure designs comply with grid codes, industry standards, and project-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and project management teams throughout the project lifecycle in Port Elizabeth.
