Ideally, you have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years in renewables, proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSyst, and DIgSILENT PowerFactory, and knowledge of grid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 4 years in electrical engineering, renewable energy preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for solar PV farms and wind installations.
• Develop single-line diagrams, protection schemes, and layouts.
• Conduct power system studies including load flow and short-circuit analysis.
• Specify electrical components such as inverters, transformers, switchgear, and cables.
• Oversee on-site installation, commissioning, and testing.
• Ensure designs meet SA and international standards.
