Placements24 in Richards Bay is seeking a dynamic Youth Development Program Manager to lead strategic planning, design, and oversight of education, skill development, and mentorship initiatives for young people in KwaZulu-Natal. The role is remote-first, enabling you to contribute from anywhere while aligning with the organization's mission.

You will manage budgets, monitor progress, build partnerships with schools and community groups, recruit and coach staff, and implement evaluation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Education, Community Development, or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of program management experience focused on youth development.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and financial management.
• Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic plans for youth development programs.
• Manage program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
• Oversee program implementation, monitoring progress and making adjustments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, community organizations, and corporate partners.
• Recruit, train, and manage program staff and volunteers.
• Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess impact.
• Organize and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and mentorship activities.
• Represent the organization at community events and stakeholder meetings.
• Stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in youth development.
• Ensure all program activities align with the organization's mission and values.
