Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Virtual Event Manager to join a fully remote team. You will plan, coordinate, and execute online events for clients across South Africa and beyond, handling logistics from start to finish and ensuring a seamless virtual experience for attendees and presenters.

Ideal candidates are creative problem-solvers with strong communication skills, experience with major platforms like Zoom Events, Hopin, Cvent, and Bizzabo, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of event management experience with virtual/hybrid focus.
• Experience with Zoom Events, Hopin, Cvent, and Bizzabo.
• Strong multitasking and time management in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end planning and execution of virtual events, including conferences, webinars, and trade shows.
• Collaborate with clients to define event goals, themes, and content.
• Select and manage virtual event platforms and associated technologies.
• Coordinate speakers, presenters, and entertainment for virtual events.
• Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee event registration, attendee engagement, and technical support.
• Manage live streaming, pre-recorded content, and interactive features during events.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time to ensure a smooth event flow.
• Conduct post-event analysis, gather feedback, and provide comprehensive reports to clients.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in virtual event technology and best practices.
