Job summary

RateHawk, part of Emerging Travel Group, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales, forge strategic partnerships, and expand our B2B portfolio from a remote base in Cape Town. You will manage key partners, close deals, and contribute to the growth of a global travel-tech platform.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in travel industry sales, strong account management skills, and fluency in English. Willingness to travel up to 50% and comfort with international partnerships are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of successful experience in the full sales life cycle within the travel industry.
• In-depth knowledge of B2B travel networks (tour operators, travel agencies, OTAs).
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Up to 50% travel may be required.
• Excellent analytical and data-driven decision abilities.
• Proactive and team-oriented with a global mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales activities to hit targets and grow presence in the assigned territory.
• Sign up new partners and provide system training.
• Build and maintain long-lasting partner relationships.
• Manage a portfolio of partners and provide first-line support.
• Execute commercial deals and manage document flow and technical setup.
