Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive growth across a designated territory within South Africa. This remote-first role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies, recruiting distributors, and driving adoption of solar and energy storage solutions.

You will identify opportunities, manage channel partners, and build relationships with end-users and developers while operating in a flexible remote setup. A strong B2B sales background in renewables is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in renewables, tech, or construction.
• Proven channel management or territory development experience.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans and meet targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of solar and energy storage tech is preferred.
• Self-motivated and able to work remotely with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet territory targets.
• Identify, recruit, and manage distributors and channel partners.
• Drive demand and sales to end-users and through partners.
• Build relationships with commercial clients and project developers.
• Conduct market analysis to spot opportunities and trends.
• Provide product training and sales support to partners.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities.
• Report sales activity and pipeline status to management.
