Job summary

Bluetti is seeking an experienced B2B sales professional to drive growth in South Africa's residential and commercial/industrial solar segments. You will own the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure and payment collection, while coordinating with engineering and logistics to ensure seamless project handover.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in solar PV, battery storage or inverters within SA, and a strong network of installers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business or related field.
• 5-8 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years in solar PV, storage, or inverters in SA.
• Solid understanding of local grid codes (NRS/SANS) and tariff structures.
• Established network of installers, EPCs, distributors, or commercial/industrial end-users in SA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new B2B customers in residential and C&I segments across South Africa.
• Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signing and payment collection.
• Configure storage solutions and present financial models to clients.
• Conduct regular client site visits and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.

• Identify and acquire new B2B customers in the residential and C&I segments (installers, EPCs, project developers, end-users) across South Africa.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation, technical proposal, and commercial negotiation to contract signing and payment collection.
• Configure optimal storage solutions (capacity, backup duration, peak shaving, load shifting) and present financial models (payback, IRR, tariff arbitrage) to clients.
• Conduct regular client site visits, maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, and gather market intelligence on competitors and regulatory changes.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, logistics, and delivery teams to ensure smooth project handover and post-sales satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 3 years specifically in solar PV, battery storage, or inverters within the South African market.
• Solid understanding of local grid codes (NRS/SANS), Eskom tariff structures, and lithium-ion battery system technologies.
• Established network of installers, EPCs, distributors, or commercial/industrial end-users in South Africa is a strong plus.
• Fluent in English (additional local languages such as Afrikaans or isiZulu are an advantage) and willing to travel frequently within South Africa.
