Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Telecoms Solutions Architect to design scalable telecoms architectures for diverse clients. You will work remotely with clients to capture requirements and translate them into robust designs spanning networks, cloud, and communications platforms.

You will lead design documents, proposals, and presentations, mentor teams, and evaluate new technologies to maintain competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex telecoms solutions.
• Expert knowledge of IP networking, cloud infrastructure, unified communications, and wireless technologies.
• Strong ability to lead remote collaboration and client management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams and clients to gather technical requirements and define project scopes.
• Design comprehensive telecoms solutions, including network topology, hardware, software, and integration strategies.
• Develop high-level and detailed design documents, proposals, and presentations for client engagements.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and vendor solutions to meet evolving client needs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to implementation and support teams throughout the project lifecycle.
