Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Telecoms Solutions Architect to lead the design and development of innovative telecommunications solutions. This fully remote role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of network architecture, emerging technologies, and client requirements within the telecoms industry.

You will provide technical leadership, translate business needs into architecture blueprints, evaluate new platforms, and collaborate with sales and product teams

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in telecoms network design and architecture.
• Demonstrated knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching and security technologies.
• Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP) and their telecoms applications.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, including to C-level executives.
• Relevant industry certifications (TOGAF, CCIE, JNCIE) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end telecommunications solutions, including voice, data, and converged networks.
• Translate business requirements into detailed technical solution designs and architecture blueprints.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and platforms to enhance service offerings.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product management teams to develop proposals and win new business.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineers.
• Conduct proof-of-concept projects and feasibility studies for proposed solutions.
