Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Technical Support Engineer to provide expert assistance to clients from a home office. This remote-first role serves as the first line of support, diagnosing complex issues and delivering timely resolutions while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, document interactions in the CRM, and contribute to technical knowledge bases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering.
• 3–5 years in technical or client-facing support.
• Strong networking and operating system knowledge; excellent communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level technical support for software and hardware via phone, email, and chat.
• Diagnose complex problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
• Document all interactions and resolutions in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with product development and engineering teams to resolve bugs and requests.
• Develop technical documentation and FAQs for clients and internal teams.
• Proactively monitor client systems to prevent issues.
