Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Installation and Support Engineer to join their distributed team, providing remote deployment, configuration, and support to clients across various industries.

You will troubleshoot complex technical issues, deliver remote training sessions to client staff, and create comprehensive technical documentation, including guides and knowledge-base articles, while benefiting from full remote work and flexible hours.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years in technical support, system administration, or installation engineering with remote component.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues remotely.
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with installation & maintenance best practices for enterprise systems.
Experience with scripting and automation tools is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities

Provide remote installation, configuration, and deployment support for client systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
Develop and deliver remote training sessions to client technical staff.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
Collaborate with product development teams to report bugs and suggest product improvements.
Monitor client system performance and provide proactive recommendations for optimization.
