Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join a fully remote, South Africa-based tech team. You will deliver expert remote assistance, troubleshoot hardware and software, and ensure seamless operation of advanced solutions.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in technical support, strong OS/networking knowledge, cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), and excellent communication. A home office with reliable internet is required; certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 4 years in technical support or related role.
• Strong proficiency in troubleshooting Windows, macOS, Linux, networks and common software applications.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to software, hardware, and network infrastructure.
• Provide expert-level technical support to customers via remote channels (phone, email, chat).
• Develop, document, and maintain technical support procedures and knowledge base articles.
• Escalate critical issues to engineering with detailed diagnostics.
